Homelify uses AI technology to automatically extract information from receipts and emails, saving you time and eliminating manual data entry. Simply snap a photo or forward an email, and our AI handles the rest.

What Data We Process

We believe in complete transparency about what data our AI features process:

For Bill Scanning:

The photos or images you upload of receipts and bills

For Email Processing:

Emails you send or forward to Homelify, along with any attachments (PDFs, images, etc.)

For Smart Categorization:

The names of expense categories you've created in the app

Our AI Technology Provider

Homelify uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) to power our AI-based features.

All AI processing is performed on AWS secure infrastructure, and we operate under the AWS Data Processing Addendum (DPA), which ensures:

Your data is processed securely and confidentially
Data is only used for providing our service to you
Your data is not used to train AWS AI models
Compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations

Encrypted Transmission

All data sent to our AI processing services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.

Temporary Processing

Images and emails are processed only for the time necessary to extract expense information, then securely discarded according to our data retention policies.

We never share your receipt images, emails, or expense data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
